Contenders has been lucky enough to gather some excellent actual play reports recently. Woo hoo! Thanks guys.

I’m thinking of The Durham 3’s game. Check out the podcasts here (33 - 36)
www.durham3.com And posted about on
The Forge

Also the Hell’s Kitchen game at the Go Play SE Portland event run by Uruush(Matt)

One on one games are interesting, something that I've not really participated in to any great extent. Actually, I think the last time I was involved in a one on one game was in the Meadows Bar in Edinburgh with Mr J J Prince himself (and impromptu, Fighting Fantasy inspired, playing card based dungeon bash, as I remember). But that's tangential.

[Contenders] Connection Threat Scenes

Hello Joe,

I was wondering what the rules are for determining the number of rounds resulting from being forced into a match through a Connection Threat Scene?

Jens Povlsen is a colleague of mine with a history of GMing fairly trad games in Denmark. He recently tried a game of Dirty Secrets with me and Per Fischer. This wasn't entirely satisfying, so I thought Contenders would be wroth a try. Our group was me, Jens and Joe Prince. We'd hoped to bring a complete newbie along, but couldn't get him in time.

Last Saturday night saw us hosting our Weegie dysfunctional family Christmas dinner. We enjoyed a fine feast of gammon and muchos cheese. Afterwards Marie and Gemma demanded to watch the final of Strictly Come Dancing, so the boys escaped to get some gaming action.
