Just a quick post. Thanks to all the punters who made the Collective Endeavour's first outing at Dragonmeet a great success!
We were busy throughout the day chatting to folks and the demo tables were never out of action!

Indie Games Meetups (Midlands)

One of the ideas I've been toying with is local pubmeets for the Collective.
I know there are clusters of folk (the Midlands, the Southeast), who are not quite close enough for a regular weekly game, but can get together for a not-quite-con. An opportunity for people with similar gaming interests to get together, play new games and playtest what folks are working on. Probably for half a day or so.
Thats's the concept anyway.
To avoid being a polling thread, where we all talk about stuff but reach no decisions, the question is not "isn't this a good idea?", but "Who in the Midlands is interested?"

Steampower Publishing will be in attendance, demoing all the UK's finest indie games as part of the Collective Endeavour
