[Pulp!]Seeking some playtesting

Matt's picture

Pulp! as some of you know, is my quick-playing skirmish game of pulp action. It’s full of high adventure, narrow escapes, death defying leaps and two-fisted action! I've played it enough to know that it works and it's fun when I'm there. All good so far.

What I'd be most interested in now is some blind playtesting, so by people who aren't being guided by me. Particularly, I'd like to know if you can follow the manuscript through and the rules appear in an order that makes sense.

Fortunately it plays nice and quickly, but you will need some kind of miniatures.

[Miniatures] Production and demand for them

Gregor Hutton's picture

In this comment/thread I said that there were sculptors about that would make good looking figures.

I guess I was thinking of Kev White who made the gorgeous Conpulsion Griffon figure.

Shevy, do you have any thoughts on that?

I think, one-off, or interesting items like that might have a small market. I'm less sold that an indie publisher should get into the game of producing miniatures when the rivals in the market do it better and cheaper.

[Cold City] Miniatures

Gregor Hutton's picture

Now, I have been looking about for figures to use with playtesting Freie Stadt and I came across some figures that would be ideal for Cold City.

Now, I know that you don't have to use figurines to play but perhaps some people want to. In which case...

...this Weird War miniatures page is perfect!

The German Geneticists are soooo asking to be used in a game of Cold City.
