It's that time of year again!

So, it's that time of year again: The collective domain name just got renewed.

Which means somebody may owe me some money for domain and hosting. Which is vague, because last year we just split it between the founding-members. This year we are a bit more settled and have a more open door thing going on, which is cool, but also makes deciding how we do this more problematic.

The least used bits of the website

I was just pondering the website, and noticed that the 2 least used parts are the publisher forums and the design blogs.

This is good, in that it means that the other design forums are used far more, but equally I wonder what we should be using our own forums and blogs for? Do we need them? What should we be posting on them? How can we encourage them to be used far more productively and usefully?

Site News

Hi Guys,

thought I'd start a discussion on site development, and my blog seems as good a place as any to use.

First off, news.

I've opened up the site fully to search engines now, so don't post anything you don't want Google to stumble across :).

The software we use (Drupal for anybody who cares) has just moved onto a new version and I plan to update in the near future. I'll be testing to make sure it doesn't do odd things before I make the switch though, so it won't be right away.

I've also updated a few defaults. Now when you post a new topic in the forums it appears in the RSS feed (previously it as just blogs), useful if like me you keep track of sites that way.
