Some background: (1) Rob Donoghue is a great guy and has been a supporter of Best Friends from Day One, literally. Hell, I even crammed into a photobooth with him, Em and Clinton at GenCon last year. You cannot find anyone, with any sense, online who has a bad word to say about Rob. He's a gent, and a big reason that Spirit of the Century and FATE are so successful. (2) My second year at University I ran a game that I consider to be my artistic peak of GMing. It was a game of Pendragon and the players were great, and not all of them were self-associating gamers. It had passion, betrayal, loyalty, honour and drama, and above all we told great stories. So, you could say that I have a soft spot for Pendragon.
