[Solipsist] The Circusites (at Conpulsion 2008)

Most of you have probably seen this on the Forge / Story Games already, but I needed to get round to posting this here.

So ... I got to run my first ever game of Solipsist entirely to people who had never seen, read, or played before. I'm glad to say it all went really well, and the players enjoyed it enough to buy my last two copies :)

Who's running the Mechaton games at Conpulsion?

And should I bring mechs?

[Conpulsion, IGT] Getting It Straight

Malcolm Craig's picture

I've pretty much stayed out of the IGT/GOD stuff until recently because, well, I'm not there this year and it's nice to see other people work together to get this kind of thing sorted. Sadly, things seem to have become a bit fractious: tempers, uncharitable reading and misinterpretation. My hope is that this thread will get things on track. I'm just going on my involvement with IGTs of previous years, plus my involvement in getting games running at cons (experiences that many of us here share).

I'd like to start from first principles:

What's the IGT for?

[Conpulsion] I think we should reboot the Indie Games Track

Graham W's picture

I've been thinking about the Conpulsion Indie Games Track, with relation to the Booth Strategy thread.

So far, only two slots out of ten are booked for Collective Endeavour games: both for Solipsist. This seems strange, considering our booth strategy of selling-games-through-play.

In this thread, can we explore the possibility of rebooting, and designing a new timetable with more Collective Endeavour games? Not saying it's definite, just exploring the possibility.

Hi, guys. Thank for your patience and apologies for all these threads. I'm happy to take on some of the work this'll need, so you guys don't have to give two hoots. =)

This Google spreadsheet is available to everyone who offered to run a GOD. If I've not mailed you an edit invitation, mail me at joe.r.murphy@gmail.com and I'll send one asap.
