So, I hear you say, you've been quiet for a while?
I've been über busy, and so has David, with work. But he's also been beavering away on another re-draft of Solipsist and sent it my way. So, I'm going to devote myself to reading this over the next week or two and giving feedback on it.
My feeling is that we're getting there. [I know it might not feel like it at time, David!] And I'm pretty upbeat about it all. This is not a game for everyone. And it doesn't follow regular RPG conventions. David has thought long and hard about it and I think the system will drive interesting stories when stats end up large and crude, while others have subtle and less powerful motivations.
I'm thinking that I'll try and get some serious final gaming done on this over Christmas and New Year, as well as making sure we have all the art we need and kicking it into layout.
The plan is for this to make its debut at Conpulsion 2008, and I think we can be on track for that. It'll mean getting it off to the printers in February, but that's doable.
Anyway, just to keep this on your radar!

Just to echo what Gregor has

Just to echo what Gregor has said, I have been so busy with work its been hard to juggle Solipsist with all the other things that I have to do, but I *have* been working on it.
The core of the changes to this draft are about the attitude of the game, the sort of instruction given to players and the GM on how the game might be played, which I hope does it more justice than my previous approach, which was just to make a sort of assumption that it would work the way games I had played in the past would ... which is rubbish for this.
If anyone else is interested in taking a look at this new material please let me know
Solipsist RPG, on its way ... eventually
