OK,
I'm around and about in Sheffield Friday evening before Furnace. Who else is going to be about for the pre-con pubbage?

Well, I'll be about most of the day, since I planned to mooch about Sheffield. So I shall go to the Garrison via the Hillborough (which is CAMRA approved, so must be good). Does it do food?

...but I'm sure we'll have a pint that night. I'm pretty sure the same goes for Andrew and Iain.

Yep, we won't be about today

Yep, we won't be about today or tonight, but will be there for (almost) all of the weekened when much pubbage and foodage and gameage can be had!
I'm getting there for about 930 tomorrow - I guess everyone else will stagger over around the same time too?
The Garrison does nice pub grub, and if that doesn't float your boat there's a KFC next door and a HUGE Morrisons equally as close.

We're setting off at 7 o'clock from Newcastle so we should be there around 9.30am as well. Looking forward to this a lot!

My train gets into Sheffield

My train gets into Sheffield about 10.15 and I'll probably get a taxi. Cutting it closer than I'd have liked, but the earlier one is too early.

The morning is fairly relaxed so I wouldn't worry when you arrive.

They've sold a respectable amount, I gather. Iain's Mob Justice games, two of them, went very well and Dead Of Night got good feedback, too.
My Lacuna game went pretty well, too.
I have stolen Andrew's peanut butter and bread, but then he stole my idea of dropping tokens into glasses so they go "Cling!", so it serves him right. Don't tell him.

I've just totalled up the cash after day 1 and we took £159.50, which is really quite good for a small con like Furnace. Mob Justice was the big seller, which demonstrates the importance of actually running it at cons!
I'm just finding my Cold City scenario and printing off Contenders character sheets, then it's off to day 2!
Great!

Can't wait to see the Mob Justice AP!
Hope Furnace keeps going well and we get a bit of a bounce into GaelCon next weekend.
