Having lost most of September to planning real work, I may not be going to Essen that weekend. So Furnace is looking like an option, do you know if there's space for one more?

So I'll be there too.
I'll happy to run games: perhaps Lacuna or Fear Itself.

Ok if you want to come to Furnace, at last count there were about ten spaces left (out of seventy).
SO GO REGISTER NOW !!!
Then if you want to run games, get the name, system, max no of players (due to space constraints we can now only allocate tables with enough for six), and a short description which we will put in the game programme/up on the website, to me at mrnewt@gmail.com.
There is some space left on the timetable, but it is going fast !!!
Oh and if you are trying to book at the Garrison and fail to get in, apparently it was booked up during August, my mate still has a spare bed in his twin room (see post above) and I can recommend the Alara B&B (see our accomodation page for details and list of other nearby hotels/B&B)
So if you want in don't dither, get those registrations and game descriptions in hither!

Submitted by Newt Newport on Fri, 28/09/2007 - 16:05.
Its not a big hassly thing...I just want to avoid dissappointment when you turn up all super keen on the day.....just to find *shock horror* all the gaming tables have already been booked up.
Furnace is not like other cons were they have loads of space, large college refectories and lovely snug bars that GMs can just wander upto put a sign up sheet on the board and off we go. Oh no. Furnace is a small con, squeezed into a historic hotel and its marvelous function rooms, were us organisers have to make best use of the space available and GMs are mad keen to grab that space.
Sorry if like you feel hassled dude, I'll like shut up now and like everything will be alright.

I have at least booked somewhere to sleep! Sat night only, as I can get there from Nottingham without too much trouble. (Says he eyeing Sat leaving time and 2 hr journey suspiciously.) Followed Newt's suggestion and contacted Alara - nice lady on phone. Hillsborough Hotel is now full up for Sat.
Newt, are you likely to run the Monkey thing more than once? With one thing and another I might miss it...

However I've moved it into a vaccant Sat Afternoon slot if that helps.

Why not buy it online? Simply go to The Thieves Of Time online store and buy A Pint Of Beer! Then Graham will buy it for you at Furnace!
Um, seriously, it would really help me out. If you wouldn't mind testing out the website and letting me know how it goes, I'll buy you a beer at Furnace. Also, it's cheap.
