It happens when the site detects certain "spammy" identifers

Because it's automated and works on a series of metrics, it sometimes produces false positives (as in this case).
Usually I'm pretty quick to publish 'em, and send a "not spam" classification to the central server it works from.

Hey, it happened to me too! What are the criteria for being spam? Maybe I could avoid tripping them in the future. I suppose that post about the h0t pr0n was probably a bad idea... :D

Don't know why it does this, but the Akismet spam blocker is a godsend. No longer do I have to follow the loathsome slime trail of user XzZZYyyDDYy and his Russian pronmails throughout the forums and blogs.

It seemed to be published, but the "[] Published" box wasn't ticked (in Publishing Options) which is why no one could see it.
