While not being completely part of the content of this website (it's not any of our games, nor in the UK, nor particularly asking for help with game design or development) I think this link is potentially useful.
Really, to see how sites such as this are using the internet to promote actual play and the sharing of it.
I heard at GenCon 2005 an idea for someone to pool a lot of MP3s and MOVs of actual play together but I don't figure anything ever happened with it.
Does anyone else have any experience or knowledge of this stuff?
My own fleeting touches with it have been listening to the World's Largest Dungeon play from Birmingham Uni, some stuff at Yog Sothoth (I think), the Sons of Kryos demos, and Spione's excellent multimedia collection of MP3s and MOVs of Story Now game play.
Edit: bolded Sons of Kryos for Andrew's benefit. ;-)
Once upon a time Paul Tevis

Once upon a time Paul Tevis devoted 2 or 3 episodes of HGWT to recordings of his Polaris game. Those recordings totally sold me not only on Polaris, but the whole indie scene.
Don't the Sons of Kryos have some recordings of them playing and demoing some of our games?
Nine Worlds

How could I forget Nine Worlds!
The MP3s of the game run by Matt with Fred Filz, etc. are great. I really enjoyed them. Of course, Nine Worlds gets almost no love online which blows my mind -- it's a great read, system and has a nic hook.
The problem I have is people wanting to play it.
The one time I played it was at GenCon with Matt running a slightly longer demo. I got to play opposite Clyde from Theory From The Closet.

Seconded! I finally picked 9W up around christmas and have been in love ever since. Why it doesn't get more love is beyond me, although it's a lot (system and setting) to get your head round, not to mention the heads of your players!
My gaming group were intrigued by the premise for a while during their "curious about indie games phase" (now over, sadly) but we never got round to playing it. So that's you and me Gregor - now we need to get together and bully some other folks into playing too!
How about a game...

...after Dragonmeet in the evening, or something?
Oh, and just so I keep it on topic. We could always tape it ourselves.
I'm also keen on videoing some of our demos at Dragonmeet too.
I'd be up for that.

Oh, and I believe actualplay.com has some MP3s.

Sounds like a great plan! I think my last train back to Luton is midnight, so I'll be good to go.
Videoing demos is a good idea too - I'd be interested in being a part of that.
I would volunteer for

I would volunteer for sorting out recording as I will be buying some stuff for my own podcast regardless. I would also be happy to post host it as part of that podcasts site.
Cheers

ActualPlay.com

Just wanted to point out that there's quite a few audio actual plays on ActualPlay.com. If you do record some, feel free to add them to the site.
It only takes a moment and should net you a few more listeners/viewers.
Cheers
