I thought it worth briefly detailing a little bit about Steampower Publishing and our games, as they'll be cropping up in discussion and blog all over the place.
Dead of Night is our first complete game, and is a pocket-sized game of campfire horror.
Six Bullets for Vengeance is a game of revenge and revelation, telling the story of a single protagonist's quest for vengeance in reverse from bitter end to twisted beginning.
Growing Pains was one of the winners in the Reversed Engineer challenge over at Story Games. It's based on a character sheet designed by fellow Collective member, Joe Prince, and is about teenage angst and superpowers. I describe it as Buffy meets Power Rangers, via Cthulhu.
Yesterday's Tomorrow is my dystopian game about surveillance, conspiracy and intrigue. I've been posting about the design process on my blog.

Dead of Night game is actually pretty cool (sorry i haven't tried the other ones yet). The survival mechanic is great and i love the ready made monsters and scenarios. Not being an hardcore role player, i have to say that it perfectly meets my need. Good job, your sure got a fan with this game :)
Everyone have a role to play in the game of life.

Thank you very much for saying so Jeff, and welcome to the forums!
And you won't have tried the other games out yet - they're still being written ;-)

Ah yes, I remember this one, it was a lot of fun. I wish they'd hold another Reversed Engineer competition, the last one was great!

Andrew, do you have any plans to continue with your work on this title. I think I sucked the internet dry looking for information you had posted on it but everything seems to come to a screaming stop about March 2007.
Are you still getting your steampowerpublishing email ?

Hey there Dave - although I'm not actively working on YT (ideas for it do keep bubbling up tho), it is classed as 'pending' rather than 'abandoned' so I'm fully intending to go back to it once I'm done with Six Bullets and Ordinary Angels.
Thanks for your interest (and yes, I got your email - will reply more fully sometime this week)!
