Don Corcoran has done a review of Best Friends. It has an associated thread about the review on Story Games.

I'm super-pleased that Don has done a quick review. I'm hopeful that he'll be doing other games too, which would be great.

I think the review is very useful in that it warns people who will not "get" the game to not buy it. I think that's a good thing.

I suspect that his play group have a strongly reinforced play style that works with some games and not others. Best Friends is "other" in this sense.

I do disagree with his analysis of what play BF encourages, and its attitude towards women and female relationships though.
