This doesn't seem to fit anywhere else, but I thought I'd mention publicly that I'm here. I am James Wallis, the ex-Hogshead guy. I was the first British RPG publisher to print and warehouse in the US, which is what helped Hogshead become the first British RPG publisher since Games Workshop not to go ignominiously bust within two years.

As some of you may have heard, I'm now heading up Magnum Opus Press. We're re-releasing Dragon Warriors and Baron Munchausen, and finally nailing down my long-unpublished FRUP, as well as a few non-gaming titles.

I will be giving you the benefit of my experience and expertise whether you want it or not.

Hi James! My father says hi

Hi James! My father says hi (Andy Stokes, Medway Ferryman and captain of Off Beat).

One day I'll have a really interesting question to ask you, but for now, I don't.

And may I say it's great to see you here James.

Fpr those who might not know, James was invaluable a few years ago when Paul and I were setting up CGS. His advice on publishing and printing was worth its weight in gold.

Cheers

Welcome to the forums James! I consider New Style to be my introduction to a different way of gaming, and still consider them to be amongst the finest examples of indie games, despite predating that movement by several years.

I just hope you've forgotten the many Games Days that I hassled you about writing for WFRP ...

EDIT: And speaking of Dragon Warriors, I found my copy on my mum's bookshelf the other weekend. I didn't even realise I had a copy til then! I'd better sell it on ebay before you rerelease it :-)

We spoke a bit about your projects at Dragonmeet. Feel free to get in touch if you think it'd be any help.

Rich, please send your father my very best wishes. How is he? I wrote him a letter after I finished the walk last summer; I do hope he got it.

Great to have you on board

Great to have you on board Mr Wallis.

Baron Munchausen is still the best RPG ever written for my money!

Last time we played one of my mates got bummed by a six foot rabbit. Strange how art can imitate life sometimes...
