[Indiecon] Sales and the stall

Gregor posted the sales figures for Indiecon in his live blogging thread, but I thought they deserved a thread of their own.

a|state 1
B-Movie 2
Cold City 2 (sold out)
Contenders 1
Duty & Honour 4
Hot War 4
Play Unsafe 2
Three Sixteen 11

As Gregor points out, that's just over £300 spent on our games at a fairly small and new convention. For comparison, the sales figures for Conception - a well established, busy convention at the same place but spread over 4 days instead of 2 - are here. I think they compare very favourably.

There's quite a good tally between games sold and games ran too - Scott ran a couple of cracking games of Hot War, Rich ran a fun game of Contenders, I ran Duty and Honour, and Gregor ran his little heart out with 3:16. All of these generated sales.

The two that don't tally are B-Movie, which should have done much better than it did - we didn't run any games of it, which was probably a mistake with hindsight, so it kinda got lost in the mix.

I also ran a cracking game of Dead of Night, but didn't get any sales out of it. I think I've saturated this corner of the market with Dead of Night - it's my 4th or 5th year at Conception gaming with the same crowd, so I suspect most people who regularly attend know enough about Dead of Night to either have it already or to be disinterested.

New stuff

Generally... the new stuff sold best with old stuff still making the odd sale (a|state FTW).
