I've updated the 15 minute demo for Cold City to give more information for the person running it and perhaps a clearer idea of what the demo should be doing.
It would be great to get feedback on this, the good and bad points, things that might need tweaked before putting up on the CGS website, etc.
Cheers

I'll asume from the silence

I'll assume from the silence since this was posted that this is the Greatest Demo Pack Ever! It should be appearing on the CGS site in the near future.

Sorry Malc, I forgot to

Sorry Malc, I forgot to comment on this before! As someone who has ran the old demo, I think this new one is better - much clearer, and the inclusion of the consequences is a great help. In fact, I might use that page for my regular games of CC!
I tried the demo a few times as written, starting in media res, but then tried starting them off creeping about the bunker before discovering the technology, and allowing their conflicts to form naturally rather than dropping them straight into it. Not sure why that worked better, but it did for me. The conflicts usually ended up the same anyway, with someone trying to fiddle with the device whilst the alternative attacked!
Anyway, looking good.
Andy, Your point about

Andy,
Your point about starting situation is good and I think the demo is easily tailored for longer or shorter demos. As we've found at some cons, half hour demos work a bit better, so starting the group off wandering around the bunker would be a better intro point for a 30 minute game. Whereas with the 15 minute version, you have to be straight in to the action.
FYI, the demo is now up on the Contested Ground Studios Website here.
