[Duty & Honour] The Proof is HERE!

Neil Gow's picture

The proof arrived from Lulu. It had a slight crease in the spine, which I'll attribute to being delivered twice and there are a few adjustments needed with margins and image backgrounds BUT all-in-all I'm very very pleased indeed.

Rather than post hulking great big images here, I'll just slip some links in:

Tomorrow will be my Waterloo. All the final edits will be made and then I'll bang in the first order... so give it a couple of weeks and it will be available.

Thanks to everyone that has helped me get this far - I couldn't have done it without you guys.

It looks great! I'll need to pick your brains over Lulu when Eeks is ready.

Nice one

That looks really great Neil, fantastic stuff. The use of the faded out image as the interior backdrop really works. You must be so relieved it came back OK. It's always a tense few days waiting to see the first proof.

You don't know the half of it!

Yes, there was a degree of bitten fingernails over the weekend. I know from bitter experience that sometimes what you see is not exactly what you get. The faded background, especially, was a big risk but it has worked out.

I had built ten days wiggle room into my plans from proof to launch at Furnace, but I desperately didn't want to have to use them.
