Hi folks,
Well the fine chaps at Leisure Games took my last copies of 'Revenge of the B-Movie!' which means I have sold out. Yay! I will post sales figues for the 1st quarter up in a seperate post, but needless to say I am delighted so far.
Now for those who still have not got a copy, why not!?!?!!?.. there is still hope for you.
The second run is leaving the printer tomorrow, 55 of which will be coming to me and 45 of which will be going to IPR. Yes soon the game will enter the hallowed halls of IPR and sit in the corner cackling maniacally in its dirty card gamey way. This means you will be able to pick the game up at Gencon US where I am hoping it will do pretty well, despite me not being able to attend and demo it properly.

That's great news that you sold out the first run of RotBM, a solid basis on which to build further success.
In terms of the current split of the first run between sales into retail and sales to private customers, would you be able to give us information how what the figures were?

Oh, and any comments on how you've split the next print run and the cost implications. I'm guessing that the copies going to IPR will net you less than a direct sale and also have an additional cost for GoB to assemble the box. However, the copies coming to the UK will have more shipping costs attached, so maybe it all evens out in the end?

B Movie is a great little game, I'm glad it's working out for you. Any plans to release the other half of the cards you originally designed as an expansion pack?

I am working on a couple of expansion ideas at the moment, but that will probably not be for a while yet.
In the meantime I will be working on a new card game project that will hopefully be out for dragonmeet and get back to Reel Adventures and Stitch.
