DESCRIPTION:
A game of friends, enemies, secrets and consequences in the aftermath of a horrifying war.

Features stunning and terrifying artwork by Paul Bourne. Many elements of information in the game are shown through propaganda posters, protest sheets, memos, diaries and documents, giving a real feel for the world.

This alternative history/horror game for three or more participants has players dealing with life a year after the apocalypse. You'll confront hidden agendas, sinister factional machinations and see the changes in relations with friends and enemies.

Hot War allows both short term and campaign play, with a system that allows the group to work out exactly the kind of game they want to play amongst the wreckage of 1960s London.

I love the cover especially - not just the front, but (maybe more so) the back. The barbed wire looks really good against the red.

Nice very very nice

What's the best way of us Brits getting hold of this? It seems a bit silly to order it from IPR in the US when it's been created on this fair isle?

Ta!

Thanks for the comments guys. I think Paul has done a particularly wonderful job on both the cover, internal art and overall graphic design of the game. It should really stand out amongst other products.

I'm afraid the pre-order is only available through IPR (as we aren't set up to handle PDF fulfillment). The shipping costs from IPR would be in the region of about $10 - 15 (although you do get $5 off shipping for each $50 you spend, so sometimes it's worth bundling a few items together), plus you get the PDF for free with the pre-order. However, if you don't mind waiting until the start of August, we would have hardcopies for sale from out own online shop (we have to wait for them to get shipped from the US).

Thanks for the interest!

Quality!

I mentioned this to Malcolm, but I was having a conversation with someone a few days ago and CGS was mentioned as being one of the next indie games producers who would 'do a Burning Empires' and produce a game which really bursts through that production value glass ceiling.

I rest my case

Looks really good. And I note that it's 1.5-2 times as big as Cold City (I admit to being hazy on what Digest is).
