Well, it only took me two years...
Covenant is now available as a PDF download at RPGNOW.
Interesting things of note. They came to me. Emailing me out of the blue and asking if I wanted to be on the site. So, somebody is paying attention out there, which is good to know.
Also interesting, the layout work was done by me in Pages, since the original print version was square and not nice and printable as a PDF. I then cleaned up the PDF Pages produced using Acrobat Pro, removing duplicate fonts and so on. This isn't too tricky.
The PDF contains all the errata and a few extra notes culled from running con games. If you have a print version, and want the PDF, drop me an email and I'll hook you up.
Finally, my god but RPGNOW's backend interface is a pig.

The game of Covenant I played in at Xmas with Malcolm, Morgue and Blair was one of my gaming highlights from last year.
Hopefully the pdf gives your game the exposure it deserves.
Cheers,
Steve

Great!
I really do hope that the availability of the PDF version helps to boost the profile of the game. I does deserve it.
Do you plan to incorporate the errata and changes into the hardcopy version of the game in the near future? And will you be putting the PDF up on IPR alongside the hardcopy? From my experience, hardcopy/PDF bundles sell really well.

Cool! Are you planning on doing an IPR pdf as well?

Yeah

I need to sell the last few copies first. I think IPR has 10 and I have 10, so that's not much to clear the decks of hardcopies before a revised printing. I doubt that'll happen before August though, I suspect I might leave it until after GenCon and do a short run for GenCon.
Now I've navigated the innerds of RPGNOW, I shall be chatting to Fred re PDF on IPR.

I'm interested in the process of production, since it sounds like the model I'll be using soon (pages + some bit of adobe software)
You produced a PDF from Pages and then cleaned it using Acrobat, yes? I've seen similiar suggestions to produce Postscript from Pages and then use Distiller to make PDFs from that. Did you try that?

Print vs eBook

If I were going to print, I'd just use Acrobat Printer / Distiller everytime, that way I could be sure of a clean PDF for Lulu or whoever.
For eBooks, I wanted to retain the hyper-linked table of contents, which is a pig to do manually. So I opted to do an export then clean. I ran the optimiser over it and removed most of the gumpf Quartz (Apple's default PDF printer) leaves behind. Given it'll be mostly used for screen or home printing, this shouldn't be an issue...
