OK,
one of the things that was mentioned at the big meeting was how it would be useful to see what people can help with.
Fortunately this is really easy to implement. If you go to your profile page / my account information (in right hand navigation), click Additional Info and you'll see a new box called "I can help with". In that box on each new line, write down things you can help others with, be it art, editing, game design, or whatever.
This info is visible in your profile, in the list of forum users, and helpfully, you can click on a subject to see all the people who think they can help with a particular subject.
When I have more time I'll integrate it more, but for now we'll see how this works.

I think of all the suggestions at the weekend, this one was one of my favourites. Not sure how it will work out, but I think it could make the community a bit more welcoming and open, as people can quickly see who is putting themselves forwards as an expert at what, as well as reinforcing the fact that we welcome people asking us for advice.
Now, let's see if this works ...

What would also be useful would be a sort of master list of categories so that we are all using the same syntax for the searches etc. So I have used:

Kids Games
CCGs
Neil

What I would say is keep it lowercase and short. The site doesn't seem to know that Web Design and web design are the same... I may be able to -plug that later.

It seems that Matt has added and 'I can demo...' field.
It's great to see this set up so quickly, big thanks to Matt for organising it. Echoing what Andy said, this could be a really helpful feature of the site. Not only will it assist existing members but it will be really useful to new people coming to the site. I'm keen to see how this develops in the weeks and months to come.

Annoyingly the userlist misses out the labels, while a single profile shows them. Shouldn't be too long to repurpose the templates...
