Moderation and General Admin

Hi Folks,

one of the things that came out of the weekend's big group discussion was a decision to be more obvious about both who was a moderator and what moderation policy is. This ties into re-focusing the forum along the lines of game play support and game publisher support.

We'll post the clarified guidelines for posting later, but the main thing is that moderator status is now just Andrew Kenrick and myself. I've removed moderation controls from everybody who previously had them, to avoid confusion.

This won't mean much change in the day to day goings on. We'll only really step in to keep threads on track, delete occasional spam and point folks in the right direction for how to post.

Will the discussion be summarised along with the admin changes for those of us who were not there?

We had what is fast becoming a tradition at Games Expo - the saturday night post-con big discussion. Much was discussed and agreed upon, and in due course we will post it up here, worry not about that!

I doubt I would have been able to come even if I had known. Too many trips away recently!
