CGS Sales, Q1 08
The first quarter of 2008 has, in many ways, been a very positive time for CGS. The release of the long-awaited Avenues & Alleyways supplement, plus the a|state PDF, gave the sales of our oldest product a real shot in the arm. Cold City sales are down slightly, going from an average of around 43 per month to 30 per month. However, this seems to be a natural trend and still represents healthy ongoing sales. The Companion also performs well, selling better than expected for a small supplement. The only disappointmet is the continued lacklustre performance of Mob Justice.

A truly remarkable turnaround for a game that, over the last year, was lucky to shift 4 or 5 copies per quarter. The PDF, A&A and bundles have all contributed towards this resurgence.

Avenues & Alleyways (released Feb 08)
This number of sale sover the space of about six weeks is very gratifying and shows that, in the end, it was very much worth our while to persevere with A&A. Hopefully, as the UK convention season moves forward, we'll see further sales to the domestic market, as well as continuing PDF and IPR sales.

Current sales volumes indicate that, by the end of Q2, we'll have hit that magic sales number of 1000 copies. Not that this represents anything in real terms, but it's nice to see how close we are getting to four digit sales with CC.

I'm super-happy for A&A and the exposure it's re-given to a|state. I like Paul's analogy of the "first album" thing -- and I still enjoy listening to Iron Maiden's Iron Maiden.
