Okay, so I've just posted up Chapters 2, 3 and 4 (Character Creation, Cell Creation and System & Scenes) of my Anarchy playtest document on my Dread Fuzzy Designs LJ blog (link in my sig.) I'm not asking people to plough through the whole thing and dissect it, there's way too much there and such a request would be far too unfocused. Instead I want to pull out and highlight a few parts that I'm unsure about, which I will do here.
I'd also like a general opinion on the writing style. I'm going for a style that is very me but want to know if I've hit that place I'm aiming for and, if I have (or even if I haven't) if it can work for an RPG text. Basically I'm going for slightly informal, chatty and friendly yet clear and easy to read with good clarity when it comes to rules explanations. Heck, is that even possible?
Anyway, my specific queries:
1) In Chapter 2: Character Creation I'm not happy with question 3) of the Five Questions, 'How did they find you?' . I'm not sure whether I should just rip it out or alter it to either include or focus on the question I binned, 'how did you wake up?' As it is I'm not sure that it brings much useful to the character creation process that can't already be covered by question 2) 'who matters?'
2) The Secret and Limit, described in Chapter 2: Character Creation and put in context of the rules in Chapter 4: System & Scenes. Basically I'm not sure if they really add anything other than unnecessary complexity. Are they really required for the genre (dystopian near future/ordinary people turned terrorist cell operatives) or am I just adding stuff for the sake of adding it?
3) Cell Connections, as described in Chapter 3: Cell Creation and put in context of the rules in Chapter 4: System & Scenes. Do they look like they'll work? The point behind them is to represent your trust and faith in the other members of your Cell and to emphasise you all working together to overcome obstacle when you're all in a Scene together. I'm just worried that, again, they might end up adding extra complexity where none is needed. Still, I do want to have a mechanical codification of the relationships between the Cell members and that seemed like a good way to achieve my design goal.
4) Bearing in mind that Chapter 3: Cell Creation is currently unfinished... should the section on Cell Connections go here or be bumped into Character Creation? Or does it not seem to matter (in which case I'll just leave it where it is)?
Cheers guys
EDIT: I should note that I fully intend to include boxout examples throughout. I've made that clear in Chapter 2 but not in the other two chapters.

I usually have a signature... I wonder what happened to it. Guess I must have deleted it by mistake.
Still, I linked to the relevant blog entries in the post anyway and Gregor has kindly supplied another link. Plus it comes up in the Feeds section of this site too. I think I'm probably covered ;o)
