Slightly off topic, but I've left conpulsion planning very late this year! I'm looking at accommodation and it all seems miles away, full or expensive. Has anybody got any recommendations for places to stay?

I found rooms at the Holiday Inn Express (Edinburgh-Royal Mile) on the Cowgate but it's £95 a night for a room.

As a help for anyone also stranded at the last minute. Adam used visitscotland.com and then went through the accommodation options there picking one to fit the price.
