Well, there's a Mechaton game listed on the Conpulsion site. I assumed Vincent was running games, but he's not. And apart from me, thee and Malcolm, I don't know who likes Mechaton. I'm assuming it's a CE person, but could be someone else entirely.
I'll definitely bring some mechs and scenery, though, Matt.

Yes, Mechaton! I mooted the Mechaton games and Oscar, who is in charge of the wargaming, thought it was cool and is keen on having it as part of the wargaming.
I am very much a novice Mechaton player with very crude lego but I am willing to give it a go.
Things have been... busy... with me, but I had tentatively thought we could set up some short games (6 rounds?) with an objective that several sides (3?) had to fight over.

That sounds excellent, Gregor. I've got a reasonable grasp of the rules, but as with so many of Vincent's designs, the proof of the pudding is in the playing.
I've time and Lego a-plenty at the moment, so I'll bring some stuff over. And we can try and get some newbies involved too.

What do you usually use for miniatures in Mechaton? Is it cardboard fold-ups, generic mecha miniatures from other mech-based games, or does it have its own range of mech miniatures? :D Or something else entirely that I've not thought of?

Hehe awesome! Sadly the only lego I have left is a couple of faded old Bionicles from back when they were new and interesting. Although there might be a big tank of the stuff up in the loft still, I think it got carted away to a local primary school a while back.
We could play it on demand?

I'll bring some Mechs if people want to play!

Does that sound OK to you?

The GIANT FIGHTY ROBOTS of Mechaton are made of LEGO.
In fact that's not optional

In fact that's not optional either - the fact they're built of lego (and therefore entirely customisable) is integral to the game.
Sounds Cool!

A crying shame however that the only Lego I have is my burgeoning Redcoats and Bluecoats set. I do however have cannon! Does that count?
